Like the rest of us, we&#8217;re certain that you too are in self-quarantine and logging in to work from home.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Some of you might be browsing through social media accounts of your friends, family, and colleagues to kill time while some of you might be keeping busy by reading frequent accounts about the goings-on elsewhere and listening to reflections about what went well for someone and what didn&#8217;t.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>As the design entrepreneur of a Digital Communications agency, I have been seeing the internet flooded with the impending doomsday prophecies, economic downturns, and several mentions of the dreaded D-word &#8211; But, what I share below might surprise you&#8230; stay with me<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Theres_light_at_the_end_of_the_tunnel\"><\/span><strong>There&#8217;s light at the end of the tunnel<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Yes, the times are dark and yes, the challenge is gargantuan. Yes, the business climate is stormy right now and yes, industries are hard hit. Besides, combined with self-quarantines, national closures of pubs, eateries and recreational areas, the overall morale is at an all-time low. Most of us are still coming to terms with the havoc wreaked on our lives in the last few weeks.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Certainly disturbing, you\u2019ll agree.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>But even in these challenging times, there is a sliver of hope and I\u2019d like to share it with you.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u00a0Life is slowly limping back to normalcy in China. Search traffic has surged exponentially and will keep on moving northwards.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Truth be told, there have been some interesting changes in user behavior. Social media use, particularly Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok saw a massive upsurge in consumer activity. As agencies monitoring different social media platforms and instant messaging services opine &#8211; There&#8217;s a palpable rise of the average cumulative likes on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram!<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"By_not_being_too_salesy_or_preachy_its_time_we_do_our_bit_in_energizing_the_business_outlook\"><\/span><strong><em>By not being too salesy or preachy, it\u2019s time we do our bit in energizing the business outlook.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>For local businesses, this is an opportunity not to be missed. They&#8217;re likewise searching for diversions and approaches to take a break.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>To entrepreneurs and business owners such as me, this should mean they\u2019re either shopping on the web, looking for a good subscription-based video on demand (SVOD) service or are considering signing up for online educational channels.<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><em>Brands that are making their presence felt on the web right now are being \u2018looked at\u2019 like never before.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This isn&#8217;t the time when your brand should \u2018stay low\u2019 on the web.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Brands ought to utilize Google SEO expeditiously so that their business moves higher on Google&#8217;s internet search results pages.
